Paneer Bhurji Roll
Hi
Well, the last post seems to have disappeared from blogger. I hope they restore the same soon.I thought that I would skip today’s post but after a lot of deliberation , I am going ahead with this post for BM#5 by Srivalli.I hope this doesn’t disappear too, not so sure if blogger has fixed the bug as yet.Well! now to the post. This is one easy wrap or roll, can be deep fried for the young kids and can be made into a healthy roll for others.
INGREDIENTS
For the Roll Covering
All purpose flour or Whole wheat flour 1 cup
Salt a pinch
Oil 1 tbsp
Oil for deep frying
FILLING
Paneer bhurji 1 cup
For the binding Paste
All purpose flour 3 tbsp
Milk 1-2 tbsp
Mix both evenly to form a gummy paste
PREPARATION
Make paneer bhurji as shown here
Take the flour in a bowl. Add the salt and mix well. Now add enough and knead it into a very soft dough. Apply oil to it. Cover it and let it rest for 1/2 hr.
Pinch small balls from the dough.Roll each into a 3″ circle.
Take one circle, keep 1 tbsp of stuffing inside.
Apply the binding paste and seal it. Likewise make all the rolls.
Heat oil in a pan and deep fry them till they turn light brown.
For the healthier version, Make chapathi rolls like this and stuff it with the bhurji
