Bajre-Ki-Kichdi
For the final week of BM, The theme is to blog from
one of the other BM members and I have been paired with Pavani. I have always

INGREDIENTS

PREPARATION
Slice the onions into thin slices
Cut all other vegetables into cubes
Shell the fresh peas
Heat oil in a pressure pan
Once it is sufficiently hot add the cumin seeds.
When they start to sizzle, add the onion and saute for a minute

Add the turmeric powder and chilli powder
Now add the washed bajra and dal to this and mix well
Add the necessary water and salt and allow it to

Close the lid of the pressure pan and put on the

Cook till 5-6 whistles
Once the pressure has released, open the pan, check
it there is some water left, and if it is there, let it cook in open to 3
minutes.

NOTE: I had used fine broken bajra since it cooks
fast. You can use the whole bajra too
