Oats Masala Chaas is spiced buttermilk with oats and subja seeds which makes it a perfect summer healthy drink
Summer and chaas go hand in hand. We need chilled buttermilk to cool ourselves down in this hot summer. We need to keep ourselves hydrated. So the mud pot for cooling the drinking water is already in use. Apart from drinking cool water regularly, we can also use some detox water. Sometimes we need more than just water. Chilled buttermilk is the answer to that. Chilled buttermilk is also called as Neer Mor. This Neer mor can be spiced using different spices and different juices. Today it is this oats masala chaas topped with sabja seeds or basil seeds which is another natural coolant.
Oats Masala Chaas is a very healthy and refreshing summer drink. Here I have soaked the oats flakes in buttermilk. Then ground it with green chillies and ginger to a smooth paste. Later the necessary buttermilk is added to it and topped with basil seeds to make a very filling drink. You can have this as a breakfast too as it is quite thick and creamy because of the oats being used in this, which makes it very filling. So go ahead and make this oats masala chaas and enjoy this summer drink.
