Pumpkin oambal belongs to the assamese cuisine. For this month of shhh cooking , I am paired with Priya iyer and she suggested one ingredient as pumpkin.Now the search for a vegetarian recipe started and I landed on Pradnya’s blog for this recipe. Cook the pumpkin in pressure cooker without water
Mash the pumpkin.
Heat the oil in a pan,add mustard seeds and when it crackles add all other ingredients and cook till the moisture is reduced and it comes together.
Serve it with hot rice or roti.
