FOR THE DOUGH
1 cup Whole wheat flour some more for dusting
To taste Salt
As needed Water
FOR THE FILLING
3/4 cup Sattu Flour
2 Green chillies
2 cloves Garlic
1/4 tsp Ajwain
1 tbsp Coriander
1/2 tsp Lemon juice
3 tbsp Oil
To taste Salt

    Sattu ka Paratha has been on the to do list for quite some time now and finally I cooked this delicious paratha and blogging about it for the final day of this year. This month of shhh what is cooking had the theme of bihari cuisine and I have been paired with Sasmita, who suggested that I use whole wheat flour as one of the ingredients ad I chose to do this paratha which is so synonymous with bihari cuisine

    Sattu Ka Paratha

    This paratha uses the main ingredient as the sattu flour in the filling. It has a wonderful flavour and taste and I realised that the paratha tends to be a little flaky when cooked rather than being soggy. We both loved this paratha and I served with simple simple onion tomato subji and it was ultimate. This recipe has been bookmarked from desi fiesta

    Add salt to the whole wheat flour. Add enough water and knead it into a soft pliable dough

    Chop the chillies,garlic and coriander finely.Mix all the ingredients of the filling well. It will look crumbly. Do not add water

    Divide the dough and the filling into 6 equal parts

    Take one ball of the dough and roll it into small disc. Keep one part of the filling inside, close it and and roll it into a thick paratha

    Now heat a girdle. and cook the paratha on one side. When brown spots start to form, flip it over and cook on the other side too. Now drizzle oil and cook on both sides for few secons

    Make all the parathas in the similar way and serve warm with a subzi of your choice
