I have always believed that when you ask the universe earnestly what you want and believe that you will receive it, the universe conspires to manifest that for you. You just need to wish and wait, everything just falls into place. This is exactly what happened to me a few days back.

For a long time now, I wanted my blog to move to a self-hosted space and I didn’t have the proper technical knowledge to go about it and all I did was to wish for a neat and crisp looking user-friendly blog. A few days back few of my blogger friends suggested that I check out with Rajendra Zore (Raj) of Host My Blog. After the initial call, we decided that he will go ahead with the work and came up with this theme and look for my blog. I must say that he is the best!!! He patiently listens to our queries, makes the suggestions which are best for us and implements it. He has done a wonderful job and I’m so happy that he gave me a blog that I wished for. Thanks Raj.

The other wish for a few days have been to own some antique looking props for my blog. The other day I saw in my news feed in facebook that Deeba of Passionate about baking had shared lovely props on sale at her Etsy store India Unveiled. I made a purchase of few items and transferred the amount. And to my surprise, a beautifully packed box of these treasures, with a personal touch, was delivered the very next day. Thank you Deeba for patiently answering my queries. Hopefully, I get to learn photography from you soon

Now coming to today’s post, we generally tend to associate thandai with Holi. Today being MahaShivarathri, Thandai without the bhang is offered to lord Shiva as Prasad. As the winter fades away and summer sets in, this acts as a coolant to our body. It has all the ingredients like badam, khuskhus to have that cooling and soothing effect on our body.
