This beautifully poached pear in the plum sauce has a lovely cinnamon flavoured added to it and makes the most exotic dessert and very easy to prepare

Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Pear
  • 300 ml Water
  • 150 gms Brown sugar
  • 2 Plums
  • 2 Inch Cinnamon
  • 2 Cloves

Instructions
 

  • Peel the skin of the pear. If the skin is very soft, then peeling is optional
  • Place everything in a 2 lt pressure cooker and close the lid and put the weight on and cook it on high flame up to 11 whistles
  • Switch it off and let the pressure release.
  • Open the cooker, carefully take out the pear, place it on the serving dish, drizzle the sauce and serve it with a scoop of icecream
  • Restaurant-style dessert ready within minutes
