Cinnamon flavoured Poached pear with plum sauce

This beautifully poached pear in the plum sauce has a lovely cinnamon flavoured added to it and makes the most exotic dessert and very easy to prepare

- 1 Pear
- 300 ml Water
- 150 gms Brown sugar
- 2 Plums
- 2 Inch Cinnamon
- 2 Cloves
Peel the skin of the pear. If the skin is very soft, then peeling is optional
Place everything in a 2 lt pressure cooker and close the lid and put the weight on and cook it on high flame up to 11 whistles
Switch it off and let the pressure release.
Open the cooker, carefully take out the pear, place it on the serving dish, drizzle the sauce and serve it with a scoop of icecream
