FOR THE CAKE
- 150 gms Butter
- 300 gms Sugar
- 500 gms Wheat flour
- 250 gms Milk
- 2 Tbsp Sugar
- 1.5 Tbsp Apple cider vinegar
- 2 Tsp Baking soda
FOR THE ICING
- 50 gms Butter
- 500 gms Icing sugar
- 4 Tbsp Strong coffee
- 1 Tbsp Cocoa powder
- 1 Tbsp Sprinkles
FOR THE CAKE
Preheat the oven to 200C
Beat the butter and sugar till creamy. Add the vinegar and milk and beat well
Now mix in the dry ingredients
Transfer this to a shallow tin lined with parchment paper
Bake for 200 mins or until a skewer comes out clean when inserted in the center
FOR THE ICING
Whisk all the ingredients well into a smooth ixture
Transfer the cake to a cooling rack.
Spread the icing on the cake after it has cooled down a little. Cut into squares. Top it with the colourful sprinkles and serve
