Ingredients
  

  • 0.5 Cup Raw rice
  • 1.5 Cups Jaggery
  • 2.5 Cups Milk
  • O.5 Cups Water
  • 1/4 Tsp Cardamom powder
  • 1 Tbsp Ghee
  • 10 Cashew
  • 10 Raisins

Instructions
 

  • Wash the rice well. Transfer it to a 2 lt pressure cooker. (You can also cook in an open pan). Add the milk, close the lid, keep it on high flame, put on the weight and cook up to 5 whistles. Let it cool completely
  • Meanwhile grate the jaggery. Add water, heat it in medium flame for 2 minutes till the jaggery dissolves completely. Filter it to remove any residue dust and keep aside.
  • Now open the cooker, mash well, add the solution of jaggery and water to this, mix well and cook on medium flame.
  • Add cardamom powder and continue to cook till the water evaporates and everything comes together.
  • Heat the ghee in a small pan, add the cashew, once it starts to brown, add the raisins fry for 1 minutes in low flame. Switch off the fire.
  • Pour this on the prepared Paramannam and serve
