Instructions
Wash and cut the cucumber in small pieces
Soak the gram dal in water for 1-2 hr
Drain it completely
Transfer the chilli, soaked gram dal and salt to a jar of the blender
Run the blender in pulses to grind it coarsely
Transfer it to a serving jar.
Add the finely cut cucumber, lemon juice and coconut to this. Mix well and serve
empering with mustard is optional
Notes
NOTE: Add the cucumber just before serving as it tends to leave out water
