- 1 Cup Gram Flour
- 1/4 Cup Rice flour
- 2 tsp Oil
- 4 Onion
- 2 Green chillies
- 1 tbsp Coriander
- 1/4 tsp Ajwain
- 1/8 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp Chilli powder
- To Taste Salt
Slice the onions finely.
Chop the green chillies into small pieces
Cut the coriander finely
Mix gram flour and rice flour in a bowl.
Add oil to this and mix well
Now add turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt, Ajwain to this and mix well
Now add the onions, chillies and coriander to this and mix well
Add a FEW DROPS of water only and mix well so that we get the required consistency. (Shouldnot be runny)
Make small even sized balls
Preheat the fryer to 200 C for 5 minutes
Place the balls in the wire mesh and fry for 8 minutes
After 6 minutes take it out and shake the mesh tray so that we get an even browning
If you think it needs more cooking, cook it for 2 minutes more at the same temperature
- Make the balls small and then air fry these to get crunchy pakodas.
- Larger balls tend to have a raw taste inside.
- Do not add more water as more water makes it difficult to hold shape and air fry properly.
- Cook for 6 minutes and check, if not cook in intervals of 2 minutes for maximum of 4 minutes. Totally it should not exceed 10 minutes
