Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 Cups All purpose flour
  • 3/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Tutti Frutti
  • 1.25 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 Cup Yogurt
  • 1.5 tsp Vanilla essence

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 180 C
  • Add 2 tbsp of all purpose flour to the tutty fruity and mix well so that it coats uniformly
  • Grease an 8” cake pan
  • Beat curd and sugar together till creamy
  • Add baking powder and baking soda and whisk well.
  • Keep it aside for 5 minutes for it to froth. You will a lot of bubble formation.
  • Now add the vanilla and the oil and beat well
  • Fold in the flour
  • Now add the tutty fruitti and mix.
  • Pour the cake batter into the prepared cake tin.
  • Bake for 45 minutes or until the skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Transfer it to a cooling rack.
  • After it cools down a little, invert it on a cooling rack and let it cool completely
  • Once completely cool, slice it and enjoy the colourful tutti frutti cake.
