Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 Cup Gram dal
  • 1/4 Cup Tuvar dal
  • 1 Red chilly
  • 1 Tbsp Coriander
  • 1/4 Cup Zucchini Grated
  • 1/8 tsp safoetida
  • To Taste Salt
  • FOR Deep frying Oil

Instructions
 

  • Soak the two dals together in enough water for 1/2 hr
  • Meanwhile grate the zucchini. Squeeze out the water and keep aside
  • Drain the water from the dal completely. Transfer the dal without any water to the mixer jar. Add the chilli, salt, corainder and asafoetida
  • Grind it very coarsely without water for in pulses. Do not grind it smooth
  • Heat the oil in a deep frying pan
  • Mix the grated zucchini with the ground dal. Make small patties and deep fry till golden brown on medium flame. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve with a cup of hot coffee
