Fig Raisin Chutney

 Another relish which goes perfectly well with toasted
bread or our own chapathi is this fig chutney. Now we get fresh figs and I
thought why not prepare this relish and surprise the family.

INGREDIENTS
Fresh
figs

Raisins
1/2
cup
Brown
sugar
1/2
cup
Onion
1
Apple
cider vinegar
1/4
cup
Cinnamon
powder
1/4
tsp
Ginger
powder
1/4
tsp
Chilli
powder
1/2
tsp
Ghee
1tsp
 
PREPARATION
Cut the onion finely
Take a 2 lt pressure pan
Put the ghee and make sure it is spread well
Next arrange the cut onions on it
Next add the cut fresh cut figs
Next layer the raisins and last add all the dry
powders
Close with lid and put weight on and cook for 3
whistles
Let the pressure settle
Open it and mix well. If there is lot of liquid in
the chutney, cook it in open for few minutes

Serve with roti or bread.
