Honey Oats Bread
It is december and we are back with another edition of Bake-a-thon. This marathon will be only for baked goods every alternate day. Come and enjoy all the baked goodies of all the marathoners!
For day 1 it is this perfect easy soft pillowy bread from Bakingdom.
This loaf is very easy to make. I have used the food
processor for kneading the dough. You can choose to knead it only by hand too.

INGREDIENTS

PREPARATION
Add sugar and yeast to the luke warm water. Keep it
aside for frothing

Add Butter to the hot milk and mix well so that it

Now add the flour, oats, salt and mix in a food
processor or by hand

Add the yeast mixture to this and mix again
Now add honey to this milk mixture and mix thoroughy

The dough texture will be like this
Now continue to knead either with the processor or
with the hand till the dough becomes soft and pliable.

At this stage I took out the bread to a wooden board
and kneaded it for 5 more minutes(As my processor refused to knead anymore:-0 )

Transfer this to a well oiled bowl, cover with a
kitchen towel and let it rest in a warm place for 1 hr for it to double

Now take out the dough to a wooden board and pat it
into a rectangle approximately 9*5”

Roll it into a cylinder, seal and tuck the sides in

cover loosely and let it rise again for 45-50 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180C
Brush the loaf with honey, sprinkle some oats on it
and bake it for 30-40 minutes or till the loaf starts to brown and sound hollow
on tapping

Take out the loaf and remove the loaf and transfer
the bread on a wire rack to cool
