Eggless Oats Raisin Cookies

Hi
I wanted to bake something which is easy on time today.Feeling a little sick and wasn’t able to bake any great dish. Searching for some cookie handed me to these cookies.
INGREDIENTS
Rolled oats 1/2 cup
All purpose flour 1/2 cup
Sugar 1/2 cup
Brown sugar 1/2 cup
Butter 1/2 cup
Baking soda 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon powder 1/2 tsp
Flax seed powder 1 1/2 tsp
Water 1tbsp
PREPARATION
Preheat the oven to 180C
Line the Baking tray with Parchment paper
Mix the flour, oats, soda and cinnamon powder in a plate and keep aside.
Mix the flax seed powder in water and whisk .
Cream the butter and sugars very well.
Pour the flax seed mixture into this and beat well till everything comes together.
Now add the flour mixture to this and mix everything to form a soft mass.
Make evn sized balls from these, flatten a little and arrange it on a lined baking tray.Keep them quite apart as they tend to flatten out on baking
Bake them for 18-20 minutes.
Cool on a wire rack and enjoy these cookies with a cup of hot coffee!!!!

Hi! I noticed you almost halved the original recipe from divine taste but stayed with the same quantity of butter…as in 1/2 cup and not 1/4 cup(if halved). I was thinking of making half of these with 1/4 cup butter, will it make a difference?Also how long did it take to bake?
