Corn Oats Rava Idli

Have you heard of Taste and Create?Here when you join , You are assigned another blogger from whom you have to create and taste the dish. This month I am paired with PJ of Seduce your tastebuds and I have chosen to recreate her healthy corn rava idli.As usual i am hurrying to post this blogpost as I have to submit within next 24hrs:-(
INGREDIENTS
The original recipe is HERE
Corn grits 1 cup( available in Nilgiris super market)
Quick cooking Oats 1/2 cup
Wheat rava 3/4 cup
Yogurt/ curd 2 cups or little more
Eno fruit salt 1 tsp
Grated carrot 1/4 cup
TO TEMPER
Oil 2tsp
mustard seeds 1 tsp
cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
Gram dhal 1 tsp
Salt to taste
PREPARATION
Mix corn grits, oats, rava and curry leaves in a bowl
Mix in the reserved curds and salt. Mix thoroughly
Heat oil in a pan and temper with mustard seeds, When it splutters add cumin seeds and gram dhal
Now heat the Idli cooker with the necessary water. Grease the moulds.
Just before steaming the Idli’s add the Enos fruit salt. Mix well and steam
Nutritious healthy idli is ready

These idlis look so delicious, will have to try it. Never tasted corn grit and wheat rava idlis. Something different for breakfast.
