Savoury semolina vegetable bake

For the final bake of this week is a savoury
semolina vegetable cake. I had bookmarked this from PJ’s blog and as she
rightly said, it is a baked upma with a little different texture though. This
has all the goodness of the veggies and the look and taste of a quick bread

INGREDIENTS

Preheat the oven to 190C
Cut all the vegetables finely
Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. Once they
start spluttering add the cumin seeds.

Now add the ginger garlic paste and saute for 1

Add cut onions and saute till it becomes transparent
Now add all other cut vegetables and saute for few
minutes

Switch off the fire and let it cool completely
Soak the semolina in the water for 15 minutes
In a bowl add the wheat flour, baking powder, salt, chilli
powder and turmeric. Mix well

Now add the sautéed vegetables, soaked semolina and

Pour this into a well-greased bread mould
Bake for 45 minutes
Serve warm!!
