Mocha Brownie

Hi
When Radhika of Tickling Palates told me about this Bake Along, I was over joyed…I had another reason to bake:-)And when I wrote to Joyce asking her if I could join…she readily agreed and said anyone could. So if any of you would like to bake along please do!!!. I had bookmarked this Brownie for a very long time and finally had a chance to bake this

INGREDIENTS
The original Recipe is here
All purpose flour 1/2 cup
Cocoa Powder 1 1/2 tbsp
Brown sugar 3/4 cup
Butter 4 tbsp
Baking Powder 1/4 tsp
Vanilla 1/2 tsp
Instant coffee powder 2 tsp
Eggs 2
Chocolate 1 cup
Salt 1/4 tsp
PREPARATION
Preheat oven to 180 C
Grease a square pan and line with butter paper. Let the paper over hang a little on all sides. This makes it easier to remove it from pan when baked
Mix flour, cocoa, salt and baking powder in a bowl and keep it aside.
Place a bowl over a pan of simmering water. Place butter in the bowl and let it melt.
Now switch off the heat.Remove the bowl from the simmering water and stir in the coffee powder and chopped chocolate and stir till chocolate melts completely.
Add eggs to this and beat well. Now add the vanilla and the sugar and whisk again. Mix well.
Mix in the flour mixture using a wooden spoon. Mix well Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 35-40 minutes .

Cool on a wire rack for nearly 15 minutes.Cut into squares and serve with a dollop of ice cream!!!!!!Linking this to Bake along#16
