Carrot Almond Milkshake

For this week’s Edition Of Blog Hop Wednesday By Radhika I am paired with Anu Shoj of Anu’s Healthy Kitchen And i bookmarked this milk shake . A healthy recipe and another way to include Carrots in my diet:-)
INGREDIENTS
Carrots 2(big)
Milk 3 cups
Sugar 2 tbsp
Almonds 20
PREPARATION
Chop the carrots in pieces. Transfer this to a small pressure cooker along with the milk. Cook it for 2 whictles so that it is well cooked. Keep it aside for it to cool down
Toast the almonds. Cool it and powder it well.
Transfer the cooked carrots with the milk to a blender and blend it for few seconds. Now add the Almond powder and sugar to this and blend till smooth and creamy
Serve cold topped with toasted almonds!!!!
