Cinnamon Raisin bread

For the day 2 of shaped yeasted breads, it is a
simple roll but with a very delicious filling. These rolls can be filled with a
savoury filling too.
INGREDIENTS
FOR THE BREAD
All
purpose flour
2
cups
Instant
Yeast
1tsp
Sugar
1tsp
Salt
1/2tsp
Water
Nearly
1 cup
FOR THE FILLING
Butter
2
tbsp
Cinnamon
powder
1
1/ 2tsp
Brown
sugar
3-4
tbsp
Raisins
1/3
cup
PREPARATION
FOR THE FILLING
Mix everything in a bowl and keep aside
FOR THE BREAD
In the bowl of the stand mixer add the flour, salt,
sugar and yeast. Mix everything well
Now add the water and oil and start kneading in
MINIMUM for 1 minute.
When the hook has gathered all the dough turn the
speed to ONE and let it knead the dough for 7 minutes
Take out the soft pliable dough and transfer it to
a well-greased bowl
Cover it and let it rest in a cool place for 1 hr
for it to double
Now roll it into a rectangular ½ 2” thickness
Keep the filling along one edge as shown
Make cuts along one side as shown for about 3 inches length
Start rolling as shown

Now twist each strip and place it on the rolled
bread.
Now shape it into circular bread. Transfer it to a
prepared tray and cover it loosely

Now let it rise for about 30 minutes
Preheat the oven to 22C
Brush the bread with milk or egg wash
Bake the bread for about 25-30 minutes or till it
starts to brown lightly
Once baked, transfer it to a wire rack.

Serve warm with Nutella!!
