Eggless Orange cookies
After baking the fruit cake yesterday for 2 hrs, tody i just wanted to bake something very easy and simple. I had bookmarked this from An Easy cooking Blog.So here is the recipe for this simple cookie
INGREDIENT
All purpose flour 1 cup
Ghee 1/3 cup
Sugar 3/4 cup
Rava 1 tbsp
Milk 2-3 tbsp
Orange zest 2 tsp
Orange colour a pinch
Orange Essence 1tsp
PREPARATION
Mix everything together.Knead well. If the dough is a little dry and does not hold together add more milk if necessary
Make into small balls, flatten and place it apart in a well greased Baking sheet
Bake for 8-10 minutes
Serve as an evening snack
The flavour was extremely good. My cookies flattened a little, may be since i used ghee instead of shortening. It was a little chewy too like the oats cookies.
