Paneer Makhani

Hi
Paneer, Paneer and more Paneer……..Yes!!!This week is paneer marathon. So for today it is Paneer Makhani.I had always wanted to try this from Puja’s Blogand finally did it today.
This is a very rich creamy subzi which goes well with any Indian Breads.
INGREDIENTS
Paneer 1 cup
Kasuri Methi 2 tsp
Onion 1 (sliced)
Tomatoes 4-5(medium)
Cashew 1 tbsp
Milk 1/4 cup
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Chilli powder 3/4 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tbsp
Garam masala 1 tsp
Butter 1 tbsp
Ginger Garlic Paste 2 tsp
Salt to taste
PREPARATION
Blanch the tomatoes in water. Cool it. Remove the skin and puree it.
Slice the onions thinly
Grind the cashew with the milk and keep aside
Heat a pan with butter and add the cut onions to it. Saute well. when it starts to brown add the ginger garlic paste and saute well.
Now add the pureed tomato and mix well. Let it cook in medium flame till the oil separates.
Now add the turmeric powder, chilli powder and coriander powder together with the salt. Mix well and cook for 3 minutes
To this add the ground cashew-milk paste and mix well. Wait till the oil separates and then you add in the cut paneer pieces, kasuri methi and garam masala. Mix well and cook for 7-8 minutes in a very low flame for it to come together.
