Peas Masala Swirl Bread

I saw these rolls on Priya’s blog and decided that I
would be baking these for my daughter. The only hitch was that my daughter does
not like green peas at all. So boiled the peas, ground it coarsely ,prepared
the masala and yummy bread was ready for her
INGREDIENTS

PREPARATION
FOR THE BREAD
Mix the flour, yeast, sugar and salt in the bowl of
the stand mixer

Put the dough hook on and add just enough water and
knead it into a dough

Now add the oil and run the stand mixer in speed ONE
for 7 minutes to get a very soft pliable dough

Transfer this to a well oiled bowl and cover it and
let it rest for 1 hr or so for it to double

Meanwhile prepare the filling
Cook the peas .
Grind it coarsely
Cut the onions finely
Heat the oil in a pan and saute the onions till it
becomes transparent

Mix well and cook for 1 minute in low flame
Let it cool completely
TO ASSEMBLE
Take out the dough, punch down lightly, transfer
this to a well floured board

Roll it into a rectangle ¼” in thickness
Spread the filling all over evenly
Start rolling from the longer side and form a log
Transfer this log to a baking tray lined with
parchment paper

Cover it loosely and let it rise again. Mine took 40
mins to double

Preheat the oven to 190C
Apply milk wash to the surface
Make small slits across the top
Sprinkle white sesame seeds
Bake for 25-30 mins
Transfer this to a cooling rack
Cut slices when cool
Serve!!!
