Peas Mint Pulav

Today it is a simple lunch menu of Peas mint pulav
with raita and curd rice. The added mint gives lovely flavour to this rice.
INGREDIENTS
Basmati
rice
1cup
Fresh
peas
1/2
cup
Mint
1/2
cup
Shallots
10
Green
chillies
2
Cardamom
2
Bayleaf
2
Cumin
seeds
1tsp
Garam
masala
1tsp
Water
2
cups
Ghee
1tbsp
Salt
 To Taste
PREPARATION
Remove the outer skin of the shallots
Wash and cut pick the leaves of the mint
Heat ghee in a pressure pan, add bayleaf, cumin
seeds, cardamom and saute for a minute
Now add the peas and mint leaves
Add the washed rice, water, garam masla, lemon
juice, salt.
Mix well. Close the lid of the cooker , put the
weight on, and cook on medium flame up to 2 whistles
Switch off the fire and let it cool completely

Fluff it up with a fork and serve warm with raita
