Aloo Mutter without Onion And Garlic

Another classic north indian side dish is Aloo
mutter and this time I tried it without onion or garlic and I must say that “I

PREPARATION
Cook the potato and green peas in the cooker upto 3
whistles. Cool it. Peel the potato and dice it. Mash 2-3 pieces well and keep
aside

Blanch the tomatoes, peel the skin and puree it
Heat oil in a pan. Add the clove, cinnamon an and
bay leaf and saute for 1 minute

Now add the ginger paste and saute
Now add the tomoto puree and continue to cook in low
flame for 2 minutes

Add chilli powder , coriander powder and salt , mix
well and continue to cook for 3 minutes

Now add the diced potatoes, mashed potato and green
peas, mix well and coo in low flame

Finally add the garam masala, let it boil for 1
minute

Switch it off and serve warm with roti!
NOTE: Add water if the consistency of the gravy is
too thick and cook it for few minutes
