One of the easiest recipes that we can prepare for Diwali or any festival is Kalakand. Just takes a few minutes to churn out this simple delicious sweet.

Recipe Source:Nestle Milkmaid Recipes
Condensed milk       400 gms( 1tin)
Milk powder             2 tbsp
Paneer                      500 gms
Cardamom powder    1/4 tsp
Sliced pistachio           2tbsp

Crumble the paneer well.
Mix the paneer with the milk powder and condensed milk. Transfer this to a kadai
Cook it on low flame
The mixture tends to become liquid and on continued cooking will start to thicken
When the mixture starts leaving the sides of the kadai, remove it from the fire and pour it on a greased plate.
Sprinkle the sliced pistachios on it
Let it cool well. It will harden a little. Cut into pieces and serve!!
