1-2 cups All purpose flour
1/4 cup Warm Milk
1 tsp Instant yest
2 Eggs
50 gms Melted and cooled butter
1 1/2 tsp Orange Blossom Water
1 orange Orange Zest
1 cup Orange Juice
2 tbsp Sugar
1 tsp Salt
3 tbsp Cream

This is a super soft enriched bread from France. It is an orange flavoured bread and is shaped like a six pointed flower and is traditionally baked during easter. This recipe is from My diverse Kitchen

Add all the ingredients to the bowl of the stand mixer. Run the mixer at minimum speed till everything comes together

Now increase the speed to 1 and run the mixer for 7 mins to get a soft pliabale dough.Transfer this to a well oiled bowl and cover and let it rise for 2 hrs

Lightly deflate the dough, pinch 7 equals portions and shape them into smooth balls. Place one in the center of a parchment lined tray and 6 as petals close to each other

Cover it loosely and let it rise for another 45 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180C

Brush the rolls with the cream and bake it for 30 mins or till it starts to brown. Transfer it to a cooling rack. Serve warm with butter and Jam

Such a cute looking bread! It looks just like those 6 petal flowers we used to draw, and interesting clicks 🙂

The bread looks so sinful Veena..looks like I missed quite a few of the bakes here..:(…I love orange in bakes, so this must have been so good, though next time, pls make it eggless for me..:)

Such a cute looking bread! It looks just like those 6 petal flowers we used to draw, and interesting clicks 🙂

The bread looks so sinful Veena..looks like I missed quite a few of the bakes here..:(…I love orange in bakes, so this must have been so good, though next time, pls make it eggless for me..:)
