Tomato Chutney

For the third day of blogging from my fellow blogger Kamalika’s blog for Blogging marathon #20, I decided to go with chutney. Yummy, tasty, delious chutney and goes very well with Arsi upma!!

Tomatoes    4
Green chillies   2-3
Oil               1tbsp
Mustard       1tsp
Asafoetida    1/4 tsp
Salt to taste

Blend the tomatoes and the green chillies till smooth
Heat oil in  a pan and add mustard seeds
When it splutters add the asafoetida and the pulp. Add the required amount of salt.Mix well and continue to cook in a lo w flame till the moisture is absorbed. Serve hot with arsi upma…..yumm yumm
