Yucca soup with vegetables

Yucca or cassava other know as Maravelli Kizhangu in Tamil is quite common. We see the vendors selling steamed cassava on a push cart.The soup of yucca with vegetables and chicken stock is a street food in Trinidad and is a staple in Honduras according to wikipedia .I substituted the chicken stock with vegetables stock to get this delicious yucca soup. Onion                 1
Garlic                 1 clove
Carrot                 1
Beans                   6-7
Cabbage              few leaves
Casava root         1
Oil                       1tsp
Salt                      to taste
Pepper                 to taste

Slice the onions and cut the vegetable into cubes
Remove the skin and cut it into cubes. Steam it well.once done it should not look opaque white any more
Heat 1 tsp of oil in a pressure pan, add onions ans saute. When it turns transparent add the garlic and saute for 1 minute.Add all the vegetables and enough water to immerse the vegetables , close the lid, put the weight on and pressure cook it till 3 whistles. Switch off the fire and let it cool
Now transfer the vegetables to a blender and blend till smooth .
Transfer it back to the pressure pab, add the milk, the cubed casava, salt and pepper. Let it boil on a low flame for 5 minutes
Serve hot!!!
