We have decided to stick with roti and subzi for dinner though we would love to have rice for lunch and dinner. Well! That is a madrasi in me talking J. But our conscious decision to become fit, needed a change in our dietary routine and so no rice atleast for dinner. And cooking elaborate meal at dinner is not what I would want to do and so cooking in a pressure cooker is a boon and here is another of the quick subzi’s

Cut the onions and tomatoes finely |

Heat the oil in the pressure pan and add the cumin seeds. When it starts to sizzle , add the cut onions, tomatoes, moong sprouts |

Now add all the dry powders and mix well |

Pour 1 cup water, mix well and close with the lid and put the weight on |

Cook in high upto 3 whistles. Switch off the flame. Let the pressure settle down fully |

Open the cooker carefully. Add the milk and cream and mix well. Heat on low for 2 minutes |

Switch off the fire |
