After making all the sweets and savouries for deepawali, I wanted to get back to simple comfort food. Luckily The Monday foodie blog hop squad decided on the detox theme as well. I made this very healthy and flavourful Moringa chaas as my contribution towards the theme.
This is a flavoured salted buttermilk which uses moringa leaves powder. Here I have used dry moringa leaves powder. Instead of this you can steam moringa leaves, grind it and then mix it with buttermilk. Moringa has huge health benefits and it is beneficial if you can use moringa leaves in limited quantity daily.
You can add roasted cumin powder and ginger powder for additional flavouring
Add everything to a mixer jar and whip till frothy. Transfer to serving glasses and serve chilled
