|3/4 cup Coarsely ground nuts|
|1/3 cup Powdered sugar|
|1/3 cup Butter|
|1/8 tsp Baking powder|
|1/ tsp Cardamom powder|
I love to bake cookies and these eggless nuts cookies have that lovely crunchy texture due to the added nuts.
These eggless cookies are ultimate in texture and taste and flavour.The coarsely ground nuts adds a definite texture to the cookies. The cardamom flavours fills the whole house while these cookies are baking in the oven and these will pair up well with a cup of hot coffee.
These cookies remind me of the cookies which we would get at the local bakeries. I remember munching on one each day. well the school days were amazing .
I had these cookies bookmarked from Priya’s blog but made changes to suit my taste.
Preheat the oven to 180C
Mix the flour, powdered nuts, baking powder, powdered sugar in a large bowl
Now add the melted butter slowly in this. Add just as much as necessary.
Mix well and knead it well.
Pinch small even sized balls. Flatten it a little and place it on a parchment paper lined baking tray, few inches away from each other as these cookies tend to enlarge while baking
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the cookies start to brown at the bottom
Transfer this to a cooling rack. Once it has completely cooled, transfer it to an air tight container. Serve with some hot coffee or just munch it like you did in school days
