The mathri looks crispy even though its baked, thank you for giving us healthy versions of our favorite fast foods and munches

Are you also looking out for healthy bakes like me? Then you are in the right place. When the hunger pang strikes, you tend to eat more than necessary. Especially the sweets or the deep fried one. So the healthy baked snacks like this baked bajra pudina mathri is a very option. The millet millet has numerous health benefits. Bajra or kambu is said to be high in dietary fiber. Hence it aids in digestion. Likewise it said to be good for hear health as it tends to lower your bad cholestrol. It is rich in vitamin B and in antioxidants. Since it is high in protein, it is said to be very helpful for muscular growth. So consuming this grain in limited proportion in our regular menu is advisable.
Mathris are generally deep fried. Of course it is very tasty too. But when we look at the health benefit point of view, I would rather bake them. This snack is very health as it does not include any refined products. The mint used here gives a subtle flavour for the baked cracker. Fenugreek leaves can be added instead of mint leaves too. These crispy treats are a little dry. Hence I would prefer to have these with ginger lemon tea or a cup of buttermilk or neer mor.
