Flavourful sambhar masala, even I like to keep a different variety of sambar at home.
Ingredients

1/2 cup Dried red chillies

1/2cup Coriander seeds

1/4 cup Tuvar dal

1/8 cup Bengal gram dal

1/8 cup Urad dal

1 tsp Pepper

1 tsp Cumin

1 tsp Fenugreek seeds

1/8 cup Curry leaves

1 tbsp Asafoetida

This sambhar powder is a little from the one I prepare and this is equally flavourful and tasty too. I always feel that home made masala powders are the best as it gives a lovely fresh flavour.

I always get my sambhar podi from India. I will try this recipe sometime soon as it does not have turmeric. That is the hard one to grind in the Mixer and will need to go to a mill.
