Being a typical tambhram, People at home like the combination of Thogayal and kootu. Typically it is the thenga thongayal and beans poricha kootu. Since it was a while that I had cooked this, I decided to make this combination for lunch today. Roasted the dal and chillies and cooled them to grind with the fresh coconut but then realised that I didnt have any coconut. The next best thing I could do was to grind it with some vegetable and that lucky vegetable was the zucchini.
