Dry curries are what we cook on a daily basis. The vegetables form 3/4 portion of our daily meal. So I am on a look out of different dry curries with a variety of vegetables. So when I was paired with Jolly for the Recipe swap challenge. She blogs at Homemade Recipes I first look into her blog for dry curries. I love the way Jolly writes the recipe and clicks them. Each Picture on the blog will tell you a story. Head over to her blog to see all those awesome recipes and amazing pictures. While I was browsing her blog, I checked this Punjabi Gajar Matar. The bright colours of the curry were so enticing that I decided to cook this Punjabi Carrot Peas curry.

Punjabi Carrot Peas Curry In Wonderchef Nutri-Pot

When I saw the carrot curry recipe cooked by Jolly, I realised that she has cooked it on a stove top. I am in the process of shifting more towards fast and healthy cooking. So I wanted to cook this curry in the electric pressure cooker. I have cooked this in the wonderchef Nutri-Pot. You can choose to cook it on the stove top or the regular pressure cooker or electric pressure cooker like the instapot or mealthy pressure cooker too. The setting across any pressure will remain the same and you can follow the recipe to the T.

Cooking in the electric pressure cooker saves time. Here the time taken for the pressure to build and cook the vegetable is 5 minutes. So my curry technically gets done in 10 minutes without babysitting. I just need to dump in all the ingredients, close it. Set the timing and forget about it. Cooking has become easier after I started using the pressure cooker.
