Dal with beet greens or any greens is so nutritious and we love to have with chapatis or steamed rice. Making it in Instant pot is so easy and quick na.. absolutely fuss free!!

This post is very special to me. I joined this wonderful group Foodie Monday Bloghop 100 weeks ago. I joined in their bloghop when this group was celebrating their 100th post. And today we are celebrating our 200th posting. So, for the 200th post, its theme was #200notout and it was on the basis of the round robin. Each one has to blog a recipe from the next one which comes in the alphabetical order and I am paired with Amrita who blogs at The Food Samaritan. I have known her through her blog for a couple of years now. The first recipe on her blog in 2016 which caught my attention is her Peach Iced Tea and today I chose to cook her Beets Greens Dal Fry and I have prepared this delicious dal in nutri-pot as Nutri-Pot dal with beet greens.

Cooking dal in this electric pressure cooker is a breeze. It is like a one pot meal. The process is so quick and fuss-free and finally, you will have just one dish to clean. Well, I feel the flavours are more intense while the dish is cooked under pressure and this dal is full of flavours. The preparation of this dal is pretty easy. I soak the dals for half an hour so that it gets cooker very easily. The greens of the beet are washed and cut along with onions. Next, the nutri-pot is put on saute mode and the onions along with spices are fried and all other ingredients are added and the dal is cooked on the dal mode to get a flavourful dal with beet greens. To cook this dal in the stovetop mode, please the link of Amrita’s blog as given above.
The other dals which might be interesting to you cooked and posted on this blog are
